The dates above cover the important events in the schools calendar for the first half of the spring term, you will also find all newsletters on St Joseph’s website www.stjosephcrayford.org.uk.

School Census

We will be undertaking a school census for the DfES on Thursday, 18th January 2007, language data is a new area for collection, please can any family where the home language is other than English please indicate on the tear off strip on the back of this letter and return to the school office before the 18th January 2007.

 Christmas Grand Raffle

We have one unclaimed prize in the raffle a Christmas pudding on a yellow ticket No. 348, please collect your prize from the school office.

 

Applications for Reception 2007

If you have a child who was born between 1st September 2002 and 31st August 2003, the deadline for applications for Reception 2007 is 31st January 2007. Any applications received after this date will be classed as late. Application packs are available from the school office.

Ofsted

Ofsted Section 48 (RE Inspection) will take place on Wednesday, 7th February 2007. Parental questionnaires will be sent home on Monday, 15th January. Please make every effort to complete this questionnaire and return to school asap.

Poppy Appeal

Thank you for your contributions, St Joseph’s raised £116.10 towards the Poppy Appeal.

Dinner Money


Please can I remind you that dinner money is due on a Monday morning, in a sealed enveloped with your child’s name and year group. The cost of a school meal is £1.65 per day and £8.25 a week.

Evolution Football Academy

Evolution Football Academy is now offering football coaching to boys and girls of primary school age on a Saturday morning between 10am and 12.00 noon.
