Blessing of the New Art Room
Bishop Patrick Lynch will be blessing the new art room on 16th
October at 5pm. Parents only are invited to attend. The school will
be providing cheese and wine. This will be an opportunity for
parents to meet governors and staff in an informal setting. Parents
will be able to look at resources and childrens art work displayed
in certain classrooms. Please make every effort to join in this
important celebration. A tear off slip is attached below please
indicate if you are able to attend.
School Fund
Thank you to those parents who have already paid the school fund. If
you still need to pay, please send your £10 school fund contribution
as soon as possible. We rely on parents to send this amount in at
the beginning of the autumn term. The money collected is for the
extra expenses the school has to incur during the year, this
includes end of term treats, discos and subsidy for outings etc.

Increasing Specialist SEN Places
Bexley Council is undertaking a consultation on Increasing
Specialist SEN places in Bexley Schools. If you would like to see
and respond to the consultation, please collect the documentation
from the school office. The consultation ends on the 12 November
2007.
Meal Supervisor Relief/Kitchen Relief
If you would be interested in undertaking one of the above roles,
please inform the school office. You would also need to complete a
CRB application form available from the school office.
Book Week
On the 2nd October, the children will have the opportunity to take
part in our Favourite Character competition. Staff and children
will dress up as their favourite book characters, with prizes
awarded to the most original from each class. No face paints will be
allowed and children can come to school in their outfits. |
