Year 5 Assembly

Please be advised that the year 5 Assembly scheduled for the 8th November will have to be cancelled. Unfortunately, Mr Davies is currently away due to a family bereavement.

Poppy Appeal

The school will be selling poppies on behalf of the Royal British Legion Poppies will be on sale to the children from Monday, 5th November.

Menus for School Lunches

Please find the new menus, covering two weeks, on the back of the newsletter. Our hot dinners are becoming very popular with the children and staff.
 

 

Harvest Festival Appeal

Thank you for your donations of tins for the Harvest Festival Appeal. The food was donated to the Salvation Army who have thanked us for the donation. A copy of their thank you letter is on the Parents Notice Board outside the school.

Primary Admissions 2008

I
f your child is born between 1st September 2003 and 31st August 2004 they will be due to start school in the Autumn of 2008. The Bexley Common Application Forms (CAF) will be available from the school office on the 1st November. Supplementary Admission Forms will also be available either on line at the website address above or from the school office. The deadline for completion of the forms is 31st January 2008.

Christmas Dinner – 18th December

This year our Christmas Dinner will be on 18th December. We are going to allow all children to have a Christmas dinner. If you wish your child to have a Christmas dinner and they usually have packed lunch we will need your £1.85 in advance of the 18th December. Further communication will be sent to you regarding this in due course.

Church Fayre/Raffle Tickets

St. Mary of the Cray’s is holding a Christmas Fayre on Saturday, 8th December. To support this event, the school is holding a non uniform day on Friday, 7th December. Please send your child in with a bottle for the bottle stall. Arrangements have been made for the bottles to be stored in the church hall.

Please find attached a flyer for the Church Fayre and raffle tickets. Please return all tickets including those you do not wish to purchase to the school no later than Friday, 7th December.
