Whole School Mass/Coffee Mince Pie
Event - 6th December
Please would parents send in a box of mince pies from Monday, 3rd
December onwards, for the coffee and mince pie event, which is
taking place on the 6th December in the church hall. All welcome.
Raffle tickets for the St Joseph’s Grand Prize Draw will be on sale
at this event.
Church Christmas Fayre/Non Uniform Day
St. Mary of the Cray’s is holding a Christmas Fayre on Saturday, 8th
December. To support this event, the school is holding a non uniform
day on Friday, 7th December. Please send your child in with a bottle
for the bottle stall. Arrangements have been made for the bottles to
be stored in the church hall. Could all sold or unsold raffle
tickets for the Church Christmas Fayre be returned no later than
Wednesday, 5th December.
Nativity Yr R, 1 and 2 – 14th December
For Health and Safety reasons pushchairs will not be allowed in the
main hall for the production. If you do need to bring a pushchair or
pram they can be left in the entrance area. Please remember that we
do not allow the use of videos at this event (still photography
only). |
Carolathon
The Greenwich and Bexley Hospice Carolathon will be held on the 6th
December at Bexleyheath Broadway, Year 5 and 6 will be singing
between 2.30-3pm. Please support the pupils at this event.
Costumes for Nativity
Please could we ask for any volunteers to make Angel costumes for
our Nativity this year. Please let the office know if you can help.
Christmas Lunch – 18th December
We require the £1.85 payment, if your child wishes to have a
Christmas Lunch, no later than Friday, 7th December. It will be
assumed that all children who have not indicated they wish to have a
Christmas Lunch will be bringing in a packed lunch. Please could you
include some seasonal items with their lunch.
Evolution Football – Spring Term Offer
Letters will be going out next week regarding Evolution Football for
the Spring Term. They are offering £5.00 off the total family fees
for each extra sibling. One child normal fees, two children £5
reduction, three children £10.00 reduction.
Milk Provision
Milk letters need to be returned to the office no later than the
12th December 2007.
Poppy Appeal
Thank you for your contributions, St Joseph’s raised £84.31 towards
the Poppy Appeal.
Alligator Theatre
The Alligator Theatre will be performing The Nutcracker on 17th
December for the children.
Change of School Secretary
Mrs Wood, the School Secretary, will be leaving St Joseph’s to work
in the banking industry. We would like to take this opportunity of
thanking Mrs Wood for her total commitment and valuable contribution
to the school life at St Joseph’s. We wish her every success for the
future. Mrs Heron has been appointed as School Secretary and will be
joining the team before the end of term. |
