Friendship Week
During the week beginning 21st May, the children will be taking part
in a, “Friendship Week,” to celebrate and promote friendship with
people we see every day and people in need throughout the world. On
Friday 25th May, we will be holding a cake sale to raise funds for,
Save the Children, Friendship Friday. We will be asking the children
to bring in small cakes, (homemade would be great but all donations
are welcome.) We will then sell the cakes to the children during the
afternoon. The money raised will be donated to Save the Children.
Please send in cakes on Thursday 24th May. Children may purchase
cakes on Friday, 25th May. Each cake will be no more than 10p.
Gold Medal Award
We are proud to announce that this year we won a Gold Medal Award
from the London Children’s Flower Society, for the daffodils that
the children nurtured. The certificate is currently being displayed
in the parents’ notice board outside. Well done!
Good Shepherd Appeal
The final total collected for the Catholic Children’s Society was a
massive £261.70, which was nearly triple the amount collected last
year. Once again thank you to the children for their generosity.
Please could parents place dinner money and trip money in envelopes
clearly marked with your child’s name and class with the correct
amount of money. Change is not available from the office.
