Dear Parents
Bexley Music Academy
Many of you will have seen the article in press this week regarding
the demise of the Bexley Music Academy which will have an impact on
St Joseph’s. Those children currently receiving instrumental tuition
from the Academy will be affected. The current school situation is
that the majority of peripatetic music lessons will continue until
the end of term. We are currently investigating ways of continuing
the musical instrument tuition from September and would ask parents
to keep their musical instruments in the interim until we have more
information to provide.
Environmental Day – Year 3
Please note that Year 3 will have their environmental day on
Wednesday, 20 June 2007. |
Friendship Week
Thank you to all our parents and pupils
for their lovely cakes. Some of the home baked ones were very
delicious. The children thoroughly enjoyed the event. We raised an
impressive £109.31 which will be donated to Save the Children Fund.
Uniform
With increases in costs to suppliers, we will have to increase the
cost of some items of uniform from September.
