School Meals
Please can parents ensure all outstanding dinner money payments
including payments for the final week are paid on Monday, 16 July
first thing in the morning.
From September St Joseph’s will be taking over the kitchen, this
will mean a greater choice for school meals and a hot nutritious
lunch that is freshly cooked on the premises. Due to this change to
the dining arrangements we allow half a term notice for any change
please let the office know if your child/children would like a hot
meal from the Autumn Term. We rely on parental support to make this
a successful initiative.
In line with direction from the Borough a school meal will cost
£1.85 per day, £9.25 per week from the Autumn Term. Dinner money
must be in on a Monday morning in an envelope, clearly marked with
your child’s name and class.
Cheques for meals from September need to be made payable to “St
Joseph’s”.

Year 5/Year 6 Production
Congratulations to Year 5 and Year 6 pupils for their participation
in the end of year production “The Piper”. It was thoroughly enjoyed
by parents, friends and visitors.
Parents Evening
Interview times for Parents Evening on Tuesday, 17 July, have been
sent home by pupil post. This is an opportunity to discuss your
child’s progress and express your appreciation for the work of the
teachers and support staff.
Once again St Joseph’s has achieved high standards in their KS2 SATS.
Details of the results will be circulated to parents early next
term. Well done to everyone!
Collection from School
Please be advised that we will not let your child go home with
another parent/adult unless we have prior notification. A note in
the contact book will be sufficient or a phone call to the office if
the arrangement is a last minute emergency.
